Courtesy & The Basics
- Accounts
Users are limited to one account, which they are expected to retain sole use of. Accounts are not to be shared amongst friends, family, or anyone else. Actions carried out on an account will be held accountable whether done by the creator or not.
- Advertising and Recruitment
Advertising and recruitment can only be carried out within a Plug Your Board topic or your signature. Advertising and Recruitment via the PM system will be considered abuse of the system and a punishment will be given. Note repeated occurrences will result in a permanent filter of the offending link.
- Avatar & Signature File Size
File sizes should not exceed 250kb, so as to not cause exceptionally delayed page loading. Users in violation will be contacted and asked to remove the image in question. If 48 hours passes with no compliance, it will be removed by a staff member.
- Bumping
Topics not having had any new posts made within them in 5+ days are not to be posted within, as that is called bumping. Exceptions include the Galleries/Databases, Brain Juice, TZ Clubs, and Forum Games. Repeated offenses will result in a warning and additional punishment upon case examination.
- Name Changes
You can apply for a name change within the User Controls, should you meet the three requirements:
- The user has at least 100 posts.
- The user has less than 2 warnings.
- The user hasn't had their name changed within three months.
Requirements for changing to an existing username, you must meet the above, be in good standing, and the username you wish to change it to must be under these conditions:
- Account must have 0 posts.
- Account must have been inactive since the year of 2005.

- Posted Content
All content posted on the ZB Theme Zone including (but not limited to) Skins, Graphics, and Modifications are the sole property of the respective creator and the ZB Theme Zone. Redistribution of such items is strictly prohibited without express permission from an ZB Theme Zone Administrator and/or the content's creator.
- Respect & Consideration
Flaming (i.e. belittling comments, derogatory words) and personal attacks are not conducive to a healthy community and will result in punishment. If a staff member asks for compliance, you are expected to listen. Question of a staff member’s conduct should be directed to Locke.
- Spamming
Spamming within topics is prohibited. This includes unnecessary posts, duplicate posts (where information is re-posted after it has already been stated), minimal responses (eg. 'lol', an emoticon, or responses that have no obvious thought) and off topic posts.
Copyright Violation (Ripping)
- Ripping Definition
- You may not post any skin, graphic, modification, document, or any other copyrighted item that does not belong to you or was not created by you at the ZB Theme Zone or at any other forum.
- You may not edit any item that was not created by you without receiving the permission of the creator before any edits are made or the edited item is posted. Any permission that you receive will only be treated as valid if a screenshot of the creator/owner giving permission to you for the edits is available.
- You may not claim any item that you have not created as your own.
Under no circumstances may you remove the copyright of a skin or other copyrighted item to use it on your forum unless you receive permission of the creator. Again, any permission that you receive will only be treated as valid if a screenshot of the creator/owner giving permission to you for the removal of the copyright is available. We also request that you leave a note within your Board Guidelines explaining that the copyright has been removed with permission to help avoid confusion.
- You may not use any item or material on your forum or in your profile unless it has been made clear by the creator that this is acceptable.
- You may not use the skin or any of the current or past graphics that are being utilized by the Theme Zone, including but not limited to the skin, banner, markers, buttons, emoticons, etc.
- Whether or not any posted material falls under the definition of ripping will be decided solely by the discretion of the ZB Theme Zone Staff and the Administration.
- Ripping Punishment
A first-time ripping offense will earn a user a 7 day suspension. A Second-time offense will result in a ban.
Additionally, all ZetaBoards Terms of Services and Terms of Use remain applicable to the members of the ZB Theme Zone.
